           Hello, friends! Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am alive. I had to disappear for family and health reasons, but I'm back. Currently, letting my ideas percolate as things come back to life.  Some things I have planned for this month are: Poetry 15th My annual Audiobook Appreciation Month post A summer reading challenge Writing has taken a dive lately, mostly due to mental health reasons, but I'm hoping to get back into it this month. Besides blogging, I'm hoping to tackle more drafting for my novel Sirens of Fate,  which is currently in its 5th draft. This 5th draft has been rough because after getting results back from Developmental Editing, I realized that I needed to strip many ideas of the story away and take it back down to almost the first draft.   Hello again! I'm atrociously late with this post, but in my defense, my life was upended late last Saturday and my Wi-Fi access has been spotty. This has also been my first NaNoWriMo without caffeine due to health reasons, so it's been interesting to say the least. Hello! This month I wanted to discuss something that I normally don't talk about: books! Okay, so I'm joking. But only halfway! My favorite genre to read in is fantasy, especially lesser known fantasy, but way back when I was a wee thing, I didn't have access to the internet which has broadened my reading field.  I grew up on classics and read them for school. One of my goals for this year is to revisit some of them and read some new ones.  Today, I want to share with you some classics I've read that have inspired my WIPs (Works-in-Progress). These aren't arranged in order from most inspiring to least. They're just numbered for my sake (because I like order and that sort of thing). Today I am wrapping up the writer's linkup I participated in the past two months with Christine Smith . Just a little note: while I finished NaNoWriMo, I did not finish the story. I'm still working on it, but I hoped to be finished by the end of this year. I just have a few more scenes to go. I will answer the following questions to the best of my ability.
